CGTalk - License ERROR 220

Hi, I have a "little" problem with 3ds MAX 5: last night I was working on it when my pc crash and reboot... when I restart MAX an error message appear "There is an error in your license (220)".
I tried re-install 3ds MAX and C-Dilla manager but it tell me the same error! :surprised
When the error appear I have 2 choice:

- Re-enter license key
- Launch MAX (it will works for 7 days)

Re-entering the license key I get the same error ( !!! )
Now I work in MAX with the second choice, but I don't know what happen next week!!

Anyone have informations? Anyone have found this problem too?
Please help me, I don't want format my pc! :eek:

this used to happen to me on a regular basis when i first got max and i had a computer that liked to crash every 5 minutes. the best way to fix it is to re register it through the internet. it happens pretty much instantly which is nice. so there should be an option to authorize it using the internet. it should take you through step by step from there.

You can also go into your regedit from your start menu and delete all CDilla inquries... then reinstall max... Oh, you will need to uninstall first then check regedit...

By deleteing all of the CDilla inquries, your computer will not know that you had installed max before. Then reinstall and have fun...

If this dosen't work, uninstall max then look for any CDilla through your search and delete all hits... then clean your regedit and reinstall...

LOL, CDilla can't be removed that easily. Besides, what is the problem? You have 7 days to call discreet and get a new working key.
