Hey mates,

Thanks for stopping in to look at my 2008 demo reel. I had a lot of fun making it. I graduated from Full Sail on February 8th 2008. This was our final project. As always, comments and critiques always welcome! I hope you enjoy it.

Hey, looks like it might be a good reel, but I couldn't watch it. I went to this http://www.spankybus.com/fmreel.html and there wasn't a preloader or anyway for me to stop playback so i could wait for it to load, after a few seconds it got really choppy and was playing like 1fps. I also went to your site and clicked on demo reel, same problem. No controls and no preloader. I have a pretty slow DSL connection, just you know.

Oh man, thanks a lot for catching this and telling me about it. It worked from the flash publisher, but it lost teh controls. I finally figured out how to get flash videos on my CGTalk portfolio, so I added it there and changed teh link accordingly.

The second link, which leads to my website, shows a preview version of the demo reel. If you click the thumbnail, it will get an 82 meg version for quicktime. I understand that your net connection is slow as you said, so this might but a bit too long of a wait. Again, thanks mate!

Hey Frank,

I havent had the pleasure of meeting you, but congrats on graduating! I havent gotten into compositing yet, but your demo reel looks impressive. I especially like train station sequence it felt just like normal video, except for that fact that some things just appeared to "clean" I guess is the word. The track also blends great with the tree line for the indy car section. The music was a great choice I must say, and the submarine at the end pulled everything to a close quite well.

As far as watching your videos, I had similair problems as davidcbryan. Im on a cable connection though, and at first all I saw was the low res. preview. I saw you just updated your portfolio with flash so I watched that instead. The stream on that was a little slow to watch it without pausing it some, but I dont know if you can help that. As far as your High Res. on the website goes, that link still will not work either. I tried using your site (clicking the icon does nothing) and the direct link comes up with quicktime but doesnt load anything for me or at least takes longer than 15-20 mins. Perhaps also have a low bandwidth site in the future?

I dont know if this helped at all, but figured Id try, and also wish you the best of luck!
Show `em what you got!

Frank,

VERY STRONG work.. I also really like your website I got lost in there until I looked at every single thing. I was listening to my own music and soon as your site loaded up it made me pause mine. It was like a small invite into your artistic world which is what a good website should do I think.

Your 3d Stills were Amazing as well. I also like your little juice box animation nice little gag at the end. You ROCK!! Keep it up man ***** From me
