View Full Version : How do I tell the finished rendering time?
Hi,
After rendering an image (using Mental Ray), where do I look to find out the time that it takes for the render to complete?
Thanks.

Since I have not received any reply, I think I will try to rephrase my question:
Is it possible to tell how long one render takes when that render is completed?
Thanks.

Hey there rock, you should have your output window pop up, the rendering time is at the very bottom
exp
Time for render frame (hh:mm:ss) 00:00:06
soemthing like that maybe check your taskbar at the bottom of windows.
Levitateme,
Thank you for the reply. But I do have the Output Window up:
mental ray for Maya 4.x
mental ray: version 3.1x, ....
mental ray: compiled on: Windows NT 4.0
After the render for a frame is finished, the Output Window shows no time; neither does the Render View:
Size: 320 240 zoom: 1.000(mental ray).
I don't know if I supposed to turn some options to view the completed time.
Rock.
