CGTalk - Align to Spline and Rail Path Question

Is the "Align to Spline" tag used for the rail path. I 'm sure it is but I can't drag the spline into the "Rail Path" space because it's greyed out. Any ideas how to fix this?

Enable 'Tangential' first in the Align to Spline tag. That will enable the Rail Path slot.
