I created this scene with these shot glasses and tile, but I don't know what I want to do next. Should I add liquid to the knoked over cup or do something else?
PLEASE RESPOND

Here is a bigger version of the Glasses, I realized the other one was too small.
Hope you enjoy:thumbsup:

Nice texturing...but what's with the floor's reflections? Is it a tile floor in the middle of the street? It looks like towering buildings all around a tile floor, is that right? Why would some shot glasses be on a blue tile floor in the middle of the street?

Hmmmm. I guess I forgot to take off the HDR image when I rendered. Here is another one with a creature in it.

I agree with time. Those reflections have to go. And you should not create this picture with a ground object that looks like a floor. You should develop your tiles into a bar. You could then add some shelves as well as other alchoholic drinks. Just my 2 cents worth .....

Hey thanks for the comments. I will try and work on building a bar and maybe some more props. But for now here is the pic with out the HDR.

well if it helps you could take a picture of a real bar to model and get texture ideas from and then you can use that pic as a background to your shot glasses to help with creation and render times. andll add a bit of realism to the render. but put some DOF in the shot. that would be swell.

I got rid of the old tile floor and created this bar like you said.
How do you like it so far. Its not quite done yet.

going good. do you have a reference pic of a bar. it would be best to model from there. and you can use it to help place your models.

I'm doing a project now that includes glass can you tell me where you found that shader, or how you made it? Looks really good.

The glass shader that I used, I found at the alias wavefront website. I just went to maya downloads and shaders.
They have a lot of really neat ones.
HERE IT IS (http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Tmpl/Maya/html/index.jhtml?page=/en/Community/Download/download_main_m.html&style=normal)
