View Full Version : Question: Weld Vertices?

I'm going through a tutorial right now and can't find where the weld vertices option is on my modeling menu. I'm am currently using Maya 4.5. I tried the merge vertices option and adjusted the distance but I can't get these vertices to become one. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!

Polygons -> Combine first. Then Edit Polygons ->Merge Vertices.

Keep in mind the surface normals - Perhaps you have to fix them, too. Maybe they do not show in the same direction or something else. If you get "strange" effects look in the (PolyGons --> Normals) menu to fix the problem ...
