very cool. That talking hat is annoying though. The ingame version, not yours :)

I was a little surprised to find out you were just under 3000 tris for this model. At this number, I expected the hair to look a little less blocky, and the face to have abit more shape. But were you including the polycount for the props as well?
I'm also not sure a 2048 texture is the most efficient for this model. I think with the way it is right now, you could have a similar effect with a 512.
He's lookin good though. You stayed true to the Windwaker style.

i like it a lot, but i'm not digging his face shape... can't put my finger on it.
otherwise, really nice.

thank you for all comments. yes 2048 is a bit to high. my creation way is to paint textures doppel sized and later i drop it down to the half and use unsharp mask. means 1024² is a realistic texture size in the end.
here my viewport shot of the wire and a 512 texture of him :-):

THIS is the way windwaker should have looked! Very cool man, great work!

Man, I love this interpretation! Very nicely done, that's so much more how Link looks like to me than he looked like in Wind Waker - great job!

Wow i love it, but try making the texture 1024x1024 or a bit lower, shouldent loose much detail. But yeah it looks fantastic, by far the best zelda model I have ever seen.
great work on him, lovely texture and nice edgeflow, hope the next rocketbox libraries will be as clean as he is ;)
i'm not a big fand of the face though, but the body mesh and texture is looking great!

thank you for all the flowers ;-) and critics.
next time i will focus the critic points on a new character.
characters are not my special working area but i practice sometimes a bit around like "link".
the most of my realtime graphics are inorganic and mechanical/technical.
hope nintendo released a game with this talking cap for a console, for example the wii.
this character "ezelo", exists only in the gba game the minishcap.
thank all again for this great feedback.
