looking good:thumbsup: but I reckon it needs more iregular teeth, smaller as they get further back etc, longer and sharper ones at the front, just to make it more horrific

Hmmm, I guess you're right. ;) I'll do something about it. :)

after looking at it for a bit longer, dunno whether this will be shown later in the models progress, but anyway... how does it move its head? all that armour looks like it would bash together, by the looks of things it would have a hard time looking forwards bcause it can't tilt its head back without getting back pain in later life ( i'm not familiar with starcraft, so I probably sound like a dumbass now, lol  )

Hi Janine,
it looks cool!!!
I look forward to a textured version though ... as is, it looks a little "hypernurbed" -> to slick (glatt).
Another thing bothers me . . how does it move? I suppose only by way of the "arms"? If so, wouldn´t the shoulders and chest be way more pronounced? Anyway this is going to be another great piece from you.

I always wanted to thank you for your tutorials - they were really cool (still are!)when I started out with Cinema 2 years ago.

Cheers

its HORRIBLE....in a good way though....

like the muscle parts on chest...would actually like to see it with tail, body and face part but not large elongated alien style head + shell/sheild...but more tail like shaped...tapered...dunno...it still works...either way.

I was just thinking, if the purpose of posting in the main forum is to increase awareness of Cinema, shouldn't we also post our comments in the main forum? That'll help our WIPs from slipping off the first page. (Janine--my brief comments are on the main page).

It's getting a little confusing. Can't we find a better way?

eak, so many replies...! This forum is really busy!

I was wondering myself how he would be able to move... I think he'll have to bend his spine if he wants to look up. Afterall he's some sort of worm, so he'll move like one. I'm not responsible for the original design, don't ask me. ;) I guess I'll find out once I try animating him...

Oh and here's the original model... :)

Isnt it an organic character? Shouldnt the armour be like bendable, like really tough skin to shoot through so the zerg can bend but not get killed as easily. Meh iono, i dont play starcraft that much ;)

Looks great
