View Full Version : Seeking Car animation principles / reference guide

I'm doing a semi-realistic driving/race scene, and I've noticed that simple animation techniques don't apply to simulating realistic car behavior, and come off looking fake.

I've looked all over for a video or a book explaining how to replicate realistic car dynamics, but it's all geared towards car tuning, and goes into great mechanical complexities of individual parts.

So I'm hoping someone here could steer me towards a guide of some sort that I can use.

If worst comes to worst, I'll just dig up some car chase movie scenes.
