This is a very good start. I can't spot anything that needs critiquing with my untrained eye. The anatomy seems to be good, as goes your light source, highlights and shadows. The only thing I'm not sure about is if you have the sunlight reflecting off the armor in a way that's correct for metal.

...

After looking at it for several more minutes: the wrists seems a little narrow to me and his right hand (left as viewed) doesn't quite look right to me. I'm not sure why he's holding his left hand that way, either.

His left . . . gauntlet, I think they're called, goes further up his arm than his right one does.

His stance may have his legs a little too far apart to look natural as well. I'm not sure on that one, though.

a fresh pair of eye always makes you see stuff you missed. i would agree with you on all those problems and will fix them thanks for the input.

I'm glad to be of help, but as I said, it's a pretty solid piece as is.

You know what I really like about this? The face. It's rendered really well, and the expression is intriguing. If you can bring the rest of the finish up to the level of the face this is going to be a really nice piece.
