goal was it to create a really really rotten place. it's obvious that something really bad happened there. definitely a place i would not want to live in.

The cityscape itself is amazing. The sky and lighting -- that looks more cheerful. :) I am more than fine with that, in fact I like the contrast between the devastated city and a warm sunlight, but I am mentioning because of what you mentioned as your goal in your description.
Other than that -- terrific work.
