View Full Version : C4D v8 & Bodypaint serial

Hi all,

I have a question :)

Vor some days I bot cinem 4d xl v8 (without bodypaint) and after install all of the modules, everytime whenn I start Cinema I see a request for Bodypaint serial number which I don't have :(.

Any idea how to repair this?

Remove the bodypaint 3d folder from your modules folder?

I have no bodypaint folder in my module dir :).

With R8 it might be neccesary to reinstall the application completely without BodyPaint. I'm not sure a deinstallation of BP is possible.

I have found it. This is definitly Net Render problem. Without NET Render module cinema starts as usual but this is not normal, isn't it?

It definitly isn't, you should contact MAXON support on this

I have an answer from Maxon support:

"to get rid off this error you just have to delete the following file from your CINEMA
4D-installationfolder:
ressources/res/c4d_temp_0210.res
There should be no question for a BodyPaint 3D serial after deleting this file."
I have tryed this and all works ok.
