Title: Nimia and the Flowers
Name: Kary Black
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush

A mother has to travel to tropical waters to gather a plant to cure her daughter of a wasting sickness. The idea could probably be filled out along the lines of 'Nemo for the anthropomorphic otter set'.

The base model came out of a Tweak speed modeling session and lead into the rest this week. An under water look (and wet fur!) is pretty hard so I've taken a lot of short cuts. Hopefully they still help the mood and aren't so haphazzard as to detract.

Max for the bases and the flower, zbrush for quick detailing on the background, MR and scanline rendering, PS texturing, all standard stuff. Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks!

Here is the model driving the fur:

More detail then it needed, but most of it was done in the speed modeling so I just finished it.
