Hi all.

We have updated our website with our latest work on the swedish movie "Arn, the knight templar".
At the bottom of the page there are a few breakdowns and shots from the movie.

It was a very fun project to work on.
Among various things, we recreated a medieval monastery, expanded Saladins armycamp and doubled the armies of the swedish king.

Have a look
Hope you enjoy
Mathias

Cool, good job :) How many effect shots were there in total in the movie?

Hi
It was not that many fx shots in the end for this film, I think Arn was quite a small VFX project in the end.
We at Filmgate did around 50-60 I think in the end, I have forgotten the exact number.
Some of them was the mattepaintings and some was just retouch like adding snow or duplicating crowds.
Cinesite in london also did a 4-5 mattepaintings.

It was a very fun project to work on. I really like to do the kind of VFX that you normaly dont see, but just adds to the feel of the shot.
