Title: Ferrari modified
Name: Peter Mayer
Country: United Arab Emirates
Software: 3ds max, mental ray
A modified Ferrari i did in my free time, i'm mainly into car modeling. This could've been great for a speed modeling challenge, the whole model from scratch took me 5 hours. I used a Ferrari blueprint.

cool model. but the background makes the car look small

Im trying now to set it into a cool environment, probably i'll model the surroundings and find a normal HDRi image. But right now the model is the main focal point. And yeah, the background does suck. :) lol

I agree, the modelling is great but it looks like a toy with nothing around it, you'd have been better putting it a studio shot or making the horizon line lower and blending that into the back ground, also blur the surface it's on as it gets further away so it's out of focus ( depth of field effect ), that will enhance it.
The car itself is stunning though, good modelling !
fanntastic modeling and rendering work...
little curiousto know how it will look after changing it's background
