Heres a very very very low poly model I made for a Halflife Modification in progress called Forceball. I hope you like it.

The model consists of 900 faces and 1 256x256 resolution texture.
Im currently working on some high poly versions of this and some other models for the UT2k3 or possible HL2 engine as well. Might post those later.

Not bad, VERY heroic proportions, in my eyes the pelivs ist to thin (is that correct, the part where the torso joins the ass ;) ), compared to how spread the legs are.
Good use of polys ans texture :thumbsup: ... lets see some wire to see if its fairly animatable :)

could you post a wire and the textures?
very nice model. i agree that the proportions look a little wierd, but it doesn't look bad. nice textures, except for the rust/missing paint (??) spots on the legs look very out of place and kinda like they were thrown on at the end... maybe a different color, or rings of different colors would make it blend in better.

Thnx for the feedback guys!
I know about the heroic proportions, lets just say I like a certain graffiti type of style in chracaters instead of trying to make my model look realistic. So really like overdoing certain aspects of a character.
Ill post some wireframes and playeranimations asap, thx again!

Your model looks fantastic, I am also a big fan of Half-Life/Counter-strike and this doent really look like to me that it fits in with the whole SWAT Terrorist Counter-Terrorist feeling you know....But either way you model RULZ ALL MINE!!! lol

I'm positive that it was not ment to feel like the rest of the mods... I dunno it almost desturbs me that people want everything to look the same :S

Mod kicks ass, really great texture work... and killing animation preview...

By the way your model make me think of that great old game named "SpeedBall 2" (uh i spent so much hours on this one - so this is a compliment).

speedballl aw... the memories... :D
And idd Forceball would be a Mod based on a few kickass themes like that. Think of games like Speedball, Smash TV and Unreal Tournament or movies like The Running Man and Rollerball.
However we're havin a discussion right now whether we should stop production for a while since HL2 has finally surfaced. Might wait for that :)
~4000 poly model coming right up!
