I found out Lightwave 3D will do stereoscopic rendering, so I want to try that out...but I was also wondering if I could take normal non 3D video and make a stereoscopic effect in After Effects 5.5? Also, I need to find a pair of those cool red/blue glasses to see how well this stuff works. :buttrock:

can you tell me what the filter or rendering settings are to achieve this effect?

As far as i know, you could create a basic effect without plugins:
What you need to do, is extract the red and blue(evetually Cyan) channels from your movie, move red to right and blue to right and compose them together. How much youŽll have to move the layers with blue and red to the side can be tested, if you wear a blue/red eyeglass.

here are some basic, but they are not made with AfterFX:

there are tons of stuffs, just google for it
