Not directly, but it is kind of scriptable.
I just wrote a script yesterday that opens the last rendered animation (image sequence or movie file) in the RAMplayer with a single click.

Something similar could be done for the preview, although I haven't done it (yet).

In addition, I wrote a RAMpreview script years ago that created the preview by itself and then opened it in the RAMplayer.
A (very) lite version of it can be seen in the "How To" tutorials in the MAXScript Online Help for MAX 5.x

It is a nice wish to have the option to open the Preview directly in RAMplayer in standard max without scripting...

hi bobo

i have already seen your max3 script on scriptspot.com, but it seems that it isnīt available anymore.
i already checked the example script too. there is also a script called "rampreview" by adam grant and a script called "open last render" by harry dechering.

they all do their job well, but what i exactly need is a script that opens the max standart "make preview .." rollout and automatically opens the preview in ramplayer after rendering.

does something like this exists?
