Nice visual effects piece. Were you inspired by Transformer by any chance? =)

One thing I would say is on the last shot where the building transforms, the animation could had been a little more mechanical due to the nature of its 'mechanicallity' and offsetting the animation so that each piece transform at a different time rather than having every piece transforming out at the same time. But that just might be personal preference =). Overall good stuff, I enjoyed it!

I will be coming to VFS in May, hopefully. Glad to see good vfx pieces coming from there.

Hey VERY nice vfx man! Everything looks really amazing :D but here's my only problem with this.... it leaves us asking "why?" We're watching this cool storm, then a transformation, but that's it. We want to see what happens next. Why does it transform in the rain? It just seems too much like "check out how cool this looks." I think it would be way more successful if there was a point to it transforming. Maybe something is shown coming down from the clouds? Right now it just looks like maybe they're panels that absorb energy from lightning. The visuals in my opinion are great, but without a reason for them, it's kinda lost to me. :shrug:
