Does anybody of you know what australian companys use Cinema4D? I'm planning to do a 5 months internship somewhere in Australia and it would be great if the company uses the software I love so much :D
I'm not looking for something specific. Maybe somewhere in the area Sydney/Melbourne. It doesn't have to be a huge effect house working on breathtaking feature films. In fact I think I'd like a smaller company better. Cause my exerience is that when working with a small company you'll get to do a lot more. With big companys you sometimes get stuck in one department and don't see anything else while with small ones you're the "man for everything".

This is not supposed to be an application or something. I'm merely seeking for CGI companys in Australia (with emphasis on C4D use ;))

Steve Bell has an architectural rendering/animation company in Australia. Doesn't sound like this is your area of interest, but he might have some more info. I can't recall if he posts here, but you'll find him if you search Postforum.

Hi,
maybe ask Adimex the Australian distributor for CINEMA if they can help you making contact.
You will find the contact info on the Maxon Website
International Distributors (http://www.maxoncomputer.com/resources_browse.asp?catName=DISTRIBUTORS)

Hope this helps

Is, by any chance, this the architectural company you're refering to: http://www.archiform3d.com/
I already wrote these guys one or two mails and they sounded very positive :)

Thanks for the tip with the AUS distributor.

In my experience, most of the smaller studios use lightwave in australia. I'm sure they'd be open minded on non-collaborative projects, though.

The adimex channel is probably a good option, but ff you have no luck, try a studio which often outsources for 3d - they may be very interested in having an inhouse expert.
