Hi all ...

An idea comes to my mind right now :

Why not prepare a tutorial challenge ...
For example a :

Modelling a creature tutorial challenge
(or texturing or rendering or lighting ...)
where the main point could be the quality of explanations ...

what d'ya think ?

:) Maybe it is also a good idea for people who don't have a moddel to render for the march chalange. I mean they can learn to moddel a character by this chalange and then texture it for the April chalange.
Well since I'm the worst moddeler on the board, and only have time in the weekends to learn 3Dmax I'm hoping for a fast tutorial.
I don't care if it is a easy model I think it is even better so you learn texturing on an easy model. Maybe cartoon look a like models are the best.
well I think the pro's know what is best to begin with.

 Cheers, and hope to see some tutorials soon.

Since reporting to a moderator is only for bad stuff I'll sk it this way.
I think this chalange Idea of clifford is a good idea for people who don't have a moddel. --> dee my post above.
so my question is: can this topic be a sticky:

Hey guys ,

People are donating models left and right. Besides we had all modelling challanges so far.

pick one free model and get to texturing :D

Don't know about you but the hours I have spent putting a tutorial together far outway the time it takse to model the object itself. I definitely don't have time for a modeling tutorial right now.

Iguiniz.X : no .. I am the worst modeler here :))

Sheep Factory : I know people are donating models ... but there's a big difference between having the finished model and learning how to finish it ... That's what I have in mind ...
After seeing the work done in this forums and pointing out that I will certainly never manage to achieve such models myself, I just thought it could be cool to have more to learn ...

Kaiskai : I agree with the fact that writing the tutorial is way longer than modeling ... Anyway, it was just an idea :))

Thanks for all the good work guys :D
