did this in a few hours or so. no drawings. just out of my head really. EXCEPT the turbines were inspired by another wip that has a space ship thing done it lightwave that is amazing. the top pic is messed up forgot to set iterations on the right setting. i know its kinda extreme.....but i want one:) any suggestions would be cool. i still have a lot to do. ty

ah yes, can see the swirly-chicken engine fronts workin'. :D

Looking good so far..definitely need to get that level of detail into the whole bike though..right now it's kinda unbalanced. Also little things like footrests, gauges, etc. just keep piling it on..

yup yup- there is going to be a computer HUD type thing. gauges, wires, buttons.

thanks for the comments....i might do a gun but i dont think it need one.....i might also do some stableization wings for technical issues. i might also try to do a helmet type hud contraption. ill post as soon as i can.

the back looks savage, I wanna see some blue engine fire and dark think clouds of engine exhaust in some rear views of an animation of that thing.

Great work
Cheers,

I think this bike is looking pretty nice so far. The modeling for it is coming along great. However........

I think this model looks way too similar to swirly-chickens spaceship model, at least for my taste. The dual-turbine engines look almost exactly the same, and although they look great, I'm thrown off by the abundance of similarities. Even some of the smaller details on those engines looks just like swirly-chickens details. I see nothing wrong with being inspired, but this just looks a little too close for comfort for me. Had I not seen SC's spacehsip prior to this I might have had a warmer reception to it. :(

totally understandable. but the best compliment is emulating someones work. :) Im kinda new to modeling so i needed somewhere to start. i give chicken fully credit for the turbines.....but i did come up with the body on my own along with everything else. one day ill pump out pure original work. ty for the comliments.

Woo, textures are coming along very nicely so far..is that just color so far or have you got spec etc. in there too? The exposed metal could be more metallic, right now kinda looking like chalk or candy under a coating. Dig the burned out sections tho. Some more oil leaks would be nice as well.

P.S. The Avalanches do indeed rule, haven't run into anyone else who's mentioned the reference yet. :D

ty for the comment. yeah there its got diffuse and spec on there....ill try to make it a tad more metally. but i dont want it too shiny cause its made from spare parts. at least thats the theory behind it.
