View Full Version : Modeling : Symmetry Modifier
Trestkon 04-29-2003, 12:04 AM Does anyone know of a nice tutorial explaining the symmetry modifier? It would be much appreciated. Or perhaps a short description if someone has the heart:thumbsup:

Symmetry is what you use when you model half an object and want to mirror it and weld it togeter.
Think in terms of modeling a face. You can do half of it then apply the Symmetry mod and based the axis you check it will mirror it and auto weld it together. then you can convert to editable mesh, or poly or whatever and you have the whole object done.
Hope that helps to clarify it.

Actually, I already knew all that:p I've read some stuff on it, but I just can't quite figure it out.
