Does Dreamscape work with Vray render?

Afterburn works with Vray, so I'm assuming that Dreamscape does too.

It will render with it, but I've seen weirdness happening if you use VRay GI to light the Seasurface.

You can always light them separately though, use DS lighting for the Sea and Vray for the rest of the scene.

This was a few months ago, so I'm not sure if anything may have changed on the VRay side.

currently rendering my entire animation with vray and dreamscape Daylight (dreamscape's GI-ish solution). Everything renders fine however if you wanna add hairFx you best render that seperately and compose it.

I know dreamscapes daylight thingy is no where near the sophistication of vrays GI, in fact it's closer to a light shader or something only renders faster. I like the simplicity- the only options you're given are:

subdivision amount;
on/off;
simplify for DS terrain? yes/no;

hehe great for beginners and the effects (for outdoor scenes, that is) are most satisfying

Thanks for the responses. Im using the vray sun and sky system to light it so when I go to render with draemscape material applied to my lake it says to add a dreamscape sun.... I will try different options tonight, Thank You all.
