I think it could use a bit more red in the pinks,.. and a bump map on that tail. You might try self illuminating the eyes to see how that looks.

Hey nice rat.

I really like the mouth, its cool.

Id model some rings on the tail.

He's a pretty well kep rat, like a pet rat.
Id like to see him more like a street rat, you could mess up his teeth a bit, put a bite in his ear, and give him some scars.
Now thats more rat like.

Thats just me running away with a suggestion. The rat you have got right now is awesome.
