Excellent artwork there. I like the colors you used, vibrant enough to stand out but not too vibrant as to disrupt the flow of the painting.

Thats one army I don't want to face...

horse metal plate-armor just blows away :) and i love that i can see the brush strokes, it all gives the picture so much life and expressions into it. GD!

hola amigos,

here are some steps of how this was created:

I start sckeching, getting the shape, trying to get a nice siluete, and them I move to sculp the lighing on it.

Now I start working on the composition, I wasn't too happy with the tone range , so I desided to desaturate the image to focus more on the details.

For the details on the armor, I paint on separete layer in pure white or dark grey, them change the mode to " overlay".

For the chainmell, I created a brush in photoshot the look this:
I got some nice result out of it.
