hi this my first attempt to create a model in maya (work with it since 3 months and maya is my first 3d app, so excuse my noobness :) and my bad english too)
the model is a puppet created for an university project (a little music video complete in maya). the style should be a little bit surrealistic.
the model is poly modeled out from a box

i have to do a lot of work to get a good look of an old dirty puppet (this will be my first mapping ... eeek)

I don't know how you would like to let it look..but when it is supposed to have the anatomy of a human...you really have to work on the face....
the chest and legs are to boxy.

mhm no not human like, but i see the "boxiness" of the legs and chest ... thx for your crit (got a lot to do until its done)

i need a little help, because i don't know when finish modeling and work with bump ... or chance complete to cloth (maya). i don't know how difficult it is to rig the cloth of my char.

on the chest part of the jacket i want to make some belts (they close the jacket, these ones with big metal and a lot of leather, like on biker cloth

have to fix the edges on the right shoulder

know anyone a tutorial to rig a character with clothes (with/wo maya cloth)
