I like the hand....but hte nails are growing directly from the fingers :eek:

and the fase doesn't really looks scared to me

mhm i think its a cool idea to grow the nails directly from the finger bones ... in the texture a little bit bloody on this places ...

the face should worked out with more detail (contrast with the hand)

Hi augustus, i dont know if your going to give more expression to your girl character(from this angle it could be a man too) Because for now she/he dont look affraid at allmaybe her/his mouth can be openned to scream, Maybe you have your own idea about it

Textures improved a bit.

I've just seen the strecthing on the forehead, i will fix that.

It looks great so far!

A few suggestions:

The eyelids look to 'squarish', it suddenly cuts off. (hard to explain, if you don't understand plz say so I'll throw in a suggestion through some pic editing :))

2nd; The placy where the nail of the pinky dents in (the cheek) doesn't dent in enough. The cheek is very soft and skin is thick (there's no bone beneath it immediatly)

That's about it :) I love the scene and I can't wait it to be finished :)

Very nice, dramatic composition. The mood is quite evident.

I don't like that blood drop, though. I think it is too much. It is almost vulgar in a emotional piece like this. Plus, I think it is a bit too thin, and seems to me it would take a while to drip get to that place (where I am seeing this as a sudden touch, just after his fingers contact her skin).

Instead, you could try just a teeny bit of blood (not that looks like a drop, just a little) or even just a change in the skin color -- more pink around the dimple the nails make, and the center of the dimple white where the blood is forced out of the skin by the pressure.

Also, the top finger isn't making contact, and this makes it look unreal to me. To get that kind of pressure on the other fingers, I think all the fingers should be touching. It happens automatically when you put your hands on a face, unless you are deliberately keeping one finger up, like a pinky when drinking tea, in which case I think it should be up higher away from the face. Plus, isn't this the creature's first or middle finger? For powerful effect, he/it would definitely touch her with this finger.

Very nice, otherwise, I'm eager to see it with powerful lighting and background.

:D no, hehe. it was some horror movie, pumpkinhead is this demonic thing that doesn't have a pumpkin for a head but that's what he's called... it has loooong claws and in one scene it gets a hold of the girl and cradles her head in one hand and scratches her face with the other -- almost exactly like your pic there.

Great composition. The deamon hand is very convincing. One thing that stands out to me is the nose. Just looks a bit square. Have a look at this ref (http://www.planregionalpress.co.uk/perspectives/images/nose.jpg).
