i've made a character and i've rigged it with Biped but when i make footsteps it doesn't fit with the character the hands and arms go true the body the left foot goes true the right foot
Help what should i do

Did you rig and attach to the biped in FIG mode?

Upper part of biped (arms etc.) needs to be animated separately. Footsteps makes only legs animation. Rest needs to be fixed manualy

babak3d: reason why left leg 'goes' into right leg is because STRIDE WIDTH(in Create Footspes dialog) is too small. Give it bigger value and it should be OK.
LS3D: Yes, footsteps do create keyframes for upper body but they are only positional. In 99% animation is to stiff and it need tweaking to look correctly. I know, it's pain in the ar**e but that is how CS does things
I usually set plant keys for my characters feet before creating footsteps, that way stride width is already determined.
RE: footstep generation & "the robot" look - I avoid even using it for just that reason. Freeform mode is where its at. BTW - Tail bones (if any) also get keys generated in Footstep Mode.
