Hello again

Old SOFT3D user again asking how to do something in Maya...

I just revolved something and I'd like to close up ONE of the tips. How do I do that? I hope it's not manually.

TIA

Gerald

If you left history tunred on you could edit the profil ecurve until the end is closed. You could select the CV"s in that end and scale them to be closed.

Isn't there a function that I could just collapse an isoparm onto itself...like on Soft3D.

???I wouldn't know.. I've never used Softimage|3d.. You can delete an iosparm in Maya by selecting it and hitting delete but I don't think that is what you are looking for.

I don't see why either of my suggestions are any more less trouble. Or I just can't see what you are after.. maybe if you posted a picture it would make more sense?

Is that any different than selecting the CV's and scaling them down?

You best bet will be to scale down the final hull.
