I really like this pose. It looks very, stern and strong, yet feminine. I tried to figure out how to retain those elements while also, doing what I do best, enhancing the image into something different. I started by sketching out various muscle masses then breaking them up into sections.

As for the name, Amalgamate means to mix two things to make them one. I see that here as being the merger between technology and humanity. And, as much as I hate to say it, you could also see this as being sexual in nature but that's a metaphor for another day.

works for me - amazingly, you've externalised the bone structures out through a muscular shell - very intriguing. I'd love to see an explosion of her that might reveal her inner workings. Hopefully, she'd have normal insides, maybe wrapped in cling film. Love the dry-flesh tone for her carapace.

Wonderfull image. The rendering is superb and even thought human/machine is'nt something new you made this image stand out.

Nice shapes and colors! I like her face too. If I had to be really picky, I'd say the hair doesn't fit in that well.

I love those muscles. Very well done. I regret the fact that you stopped at the body and didn't follow the same style for the head. It's a beautiful face but it would have been interesting if you had given it the same treatment.

I thought about that but the lines on the body are so think and bulky, any more of that treatment and it would have ruined the beauty of the face.

For me, those eyes really make the whole piece. They are mesmerizing. The anatomy influence is nicely handled. Even with that you risk a predictability and you really handled it well. Especially because the skeletal structure generally leans towards a deathly feeling. Beautiful pose with the hand drawing close to her heart and nice choice on the background too.
