Hi all,
there is some amazing movies in Cebas site showing TP capabilities, specialy the new TP 3.0 for Max..
http://cebas.com/news/read.php?UD=10-7888-33-788&NID=275
is this the same as c4d's TP??

No, they are not identical, however they have the same original basis.
When TP was introduced for CINEMA 4D the future development for max (done by cebas) and the further development for CINEMA 4D (done by MAXON) split up.

tp c4d has less power than max tp,,,
Hm thats a rather broad statement.
Then tell me how tp for max integrates with hair or motion graphics.

How do you do this in max? http://www.maxon.net/pages/products/modules/hair/mov_dynamics_4.html.

thats true, but try to use more than 50 000 particles, i dont know how blur studio gets their particle limit in TP to 1 000 000. C4d Tp begins to have problems in small particle amounts like 5000 - 10 000. The collision possibilities in c4d Tp are much more limited than in 3dsmax. In 3dsmax u can use the shatter effect and let your particle shatter on the point where it hits the ground,in c4d the shattering effect is not influenced by the collision point, its collision movements, right to left etc are pre set. things that wont work wihtout a killer script in c4d.
c4d tp collisions are often clipping through a collision plane or jumping around. i know it s not rigid body, but sometimes thats just frustrating

i guess that are things that are much more important and mire used than snow collision with hair
