Yep, great to see that there's a Mac version planned. I'm interested in it for it's abstract abilities - is it easier yo use than Ditools (which I still find too hit and miss and uncontollable) for creating abstract images?
Sweet for macs to. I am think I am in love.

There's only one package for downloading, and the page doesn't say it's for PC only. I use pc, and the plugin works well, I don't know whether it suits for Mac.
It seems the Beta is only PC, since there is only a CDL in the archive.

XFrog 4 looks very nice. It seems very easy to create some weird organic shapes (and very quickly too). I'm not quite sure I'm in full control of the process yet, but it looks very promising.
I wonder how XFrog4 will support previous versions? I have some of the libraries and wonder if it will be possible to load them ?

very funky organic modelling updates....but jeez...have ya seen that integration with cinema!! thats to damn cool.
Actually, I'd like to add a few more 'verys' in between the 'very' and 'good' in my previous post. The process is pretty controllable once you get your head round things, and the possibilities are mind bending ... the only problem is that it's easy to generate something that will bring the processor to its knees - however, that's the user's fault ! In short, it's fantastic !

i e-mailed Stewart McSherry at greenworks, and he said two weeks for the mac beta.
looking forward...
Counting the days.
its good to know that people realize how many C4D users are on macs. its not like we are using MAX.

Nice teaser :)
It makes me look forward to getting home from work so that I can download it and try it out myself :bounce:

Yep, this is looking like it's going to be good. It seems much more responsive in Cinema than it is in the standalone application. In 3.5 you get a really long delay any time you create a new node, and shorter but still annoying delays when you switch between nodes.

There is the 'short' v4 pdf - which I've downloaded, but is the main 6.9mb manual for v4, or the previous version?

the short version is 1.14 MB the full pdf is 6.70 (or something close) but its for xfrog 3.5 i did download it lastnight...and it doesnt help at all...as adam said, 4 is integrated into cinema xfrog 3.5 and below were standalone apps. This is SO much better.

In addition to being more responsive, it's also easier to use, and considerably more powerful, since you can now tack C4D models into slots that used to be limited to XFrog primitives. :bounce:
