Thought it was time for another paint session and this is the twisted result. Hm, maybe time I had some therapy.
Painted directly in Photoshop 5 without reference, on Wacom tablet, time so far about 4 hours spread over 2 days.

Yeah, very cool, out there in that right way. I think you should only get therapy if you're not doing stuff like that. :D

Look forward to the final..the translucent skull stuff is ultra fabulous.

re just a question has which resolution you starts to drawing or painting ?

Stahlberg
04-29-2003, 04:43 AM
Thanks! I started slightly larger than what you see here, but I cropped it a little, several times, enlarged it a little again... yeah basically this resolution. If it turns out worth it, I work it out at a higher res later.

hey nice thing there......... but i think the leg of the girl is too big..... and is she a lil girl or a lady? her upper body and lower doesn't click proportionally...... in my opinion...... good luck!

WOOOOOOW

Impressive; you never stop to amaze me, your skills and thecnic are excellent, but the hole idea and environment you create in your works is simply .... breathtaking.
Canīt really belive the way that you create fantasy just playing with some pixels.

Thanks!! :)
Here's an update, I posed and lit a 3d character and a 3d umbrella for reference, I also took a closer look at my own hand.

Very nice, but I really liked the way the legs were hugging the head in your original image. It gives the girl the sense of stability needed to sit on that giant's shoulders.

Woo, neato. While I like the new girl a lot, I agree that the leglocked pose was cooler, more intimate kinda, even if it were impossible for such a wee girl..though there's a cool suggestiveness in the new pose.

Is this going to be another 2d that evolves into total 3d? :D
