Hey, I made these maybe a year or so ago. It's all one mel script in maya I made and did a few changes to. But it was just last night my friend asks me if I've shown anyone this work and I said no, not really. And my friend was shocked. I think it's neat but I'm not one to really set out to show off my art, so I figured I'll post some particle effects I've created and see if people like it.

What I've done used sine and cosine to try and replicate Phi (Golden Ratio) or the nautilus shell. So here is some stuff ---

Stills -

Some alterations to the code to make it more 3d (move in the Y axis too now)-
Motion Blur-

No MoBlur-

The same script but animated --

Mov-

This is the same 3d movement version but animated --

*Avis are xvid - Movs are mpeg 4

So, this is just one script I wrote, my friend seemed to like it, so tell me what you think, I got more if you guys like it haha.

I love it!

Would be sweet to see some more longer HD-videos of that stuff! Synced with good music

heh, thanks!

Oddly enough, shortly after finishing these renders and creation of the Golden Ratio script in maya, I started working on a personal side project. I'm calling it TTE "Trippiest Thing Ever" just a long 3d + 2d dynamic media based video (that loops) with all stuff like this, but with clusters of color to give a feeling to the piece. I have maybe a minute and a half to two minutes so far (haven't exactly put much time into it though); it is like a demo -- http://farb-rausch.de/ (I'd suggest watching fr-038: Theta ) or http://www.scene.org/

Lots of masking animations with animations. Lots of particle effects, color corrections, and messing with peoples' peripheral vision; synced with music to make it all the more fun. Probably exactly what you'd want to see, Maxon.

IN HD!! hahah
