View Full Version : editor views at same scale
Mike Abbott 04-28-2003, 10:21 AM Hi folks,
Is there any quick-push-button way to get matching size in each of the non-perspective editor views - top, front and side?
ie: to show the model at the same scale across each window?
I can build a simple camera rig to do it - but it seems like a function there should be a command for somewhere.

I guess the answer is : no ;)
So, I made a quick drop-in camera rig to do the job ('P-Cam'). Nothing you couldn't do for yourself in a couple of minutes, but it's free for the taking.

Enjoy :)

well I always just do "O" for frame selected object that would work.
remember to post this in the resources subforum.

That's not the same - unless you're dealing with something like a cube or sphere - ie; an object with matching XYZ dimensions.
If you do "O" with an irregular object, each viewport shows it at a different size - the size it fits when viewed from that view.
The P-Cam rig keeps everything in viewport-size-sync :)

Yep - I'll post it in resources.
