View Full Version : Mac users help AGAIN!
Sorry about the title of this thread, I thought I still had an old problem and then found it was my own error. (blush!)
There's a new way of applying textures in AutoUV.
I imported a jpeg OK but I tried to drag it onto the UV map and nothing happened. I haven't really explored all commands but I couldn't see any other obvious way of applying it.
Also anyone know what happened to the chequered and striped test textures?

First, regarding the checkered texture, you will have to create an "Image" object, just like you create a cube or a sphere:
In the Geometry window or in the Outliner window
Right Click, choose Image..., choose the Width and Height you want for the image and then the Pattern (Grid, Checkerboard, Vertical or Horizontal Bars, White and Black) :)
Regarding the way to apply a texture, I've been playing a bit with the new way of assigning a texture to the UV Map and really is by dragging it from the Outliner to the AutoU window but, the image you are dragging has to be the same dimensions as the AutoUV map, as seen in the Draw Options (Right Click over the AutoUV pic and choose Draw Options) usually 512x512 by default.
I hope this was of some help :)
Best regards
Thanks JPGargoyle, I get it now!
