Hello there,
I promised to show this to equinoxx so I figured I'd just post it here for everyone to see. I was surprised I could actually upload a file this big onto tripod. It probably won't last very long. Sorry for that guys.
Anyways this is a shortfilm I made last winter. I did the, photography and filming, the costume, did the acting..etc etc. The whole thing took 3 days (admittedly, they were very long days :) ). Which includes learning afterfx for some simple keying and animation as well as going back to the forest in Den Haag and shooting all the footage again without overexposing it. (This was my first time doing video)
Now don't start bitching about the keying job. This was shot on dv in my living room in front of 30 sheets op green paper using 3 regular lightbulbs for lighting. So it was pretty clear to me from the start that the keying was not going to be anywhere near "clean". I decided that it was ok since it was going to be a somewhat gritty looking b/w thing anyways. My teachers think it adds to the mystical atmosphere :)
Oh and I did this for school btw. I study Fine Arts in rotterdam/netherlands.
anyways..take a look..(while you can)
