View Full Version : Texture: How did he did it? (Water painting look)
hugodog 04-28-2003, 06:44 AM Hi,
Has any of you seen rendering by David Gutierrez?
http://www.discreet.com/images/products/3dsmax/3dsmax5_beta/hi-res/3dsmax5beta_image16.jpg
How do you get that water painting look? It's supposedly
done with max Ink'Paint. But it's kind of different with
regular max ink'n'paint look.
Thanks.

Howdy !!
i might be completely wrong, and it might be by maps manipulation and tweaking, but it looks like either maps where actually painted with this "water color" effect on, applied on objects and rendered with ink n'paint.
Or, it was just rendered with ink n'paint but no colors and painted afterwards ?
anyhow i'd be interested in knowing how it was done : )
