Hey guys just thought I'd give her a shot with low poly modelling, but first hi poly then low poly afterwards. This means i'm not gunna do any fancy renders just what you see in the viewports. I already started the base head on one of the characters and textured it up using 3d sk referance site images. Im also gunna model his clothng etc etc. theres gunna be another dude (mob guy or somethin lol)

Hello again

OKay today I did the hand, its pretty simple atm and well even out for zbrush sculpting. I had decided to unwrap it and texture it before sculpting so that I can use the defuse as a sculpt guide on those hand folds from top hand to bottem. Afterwards i'm gunna reposition that hand into the sleeves of a sweater and reposition the arms 45 deg down. fix those textures later on. my next goal after that is creatin the jeans and feet cause this guy wont have any shoes hehe Ill be back with more pics later on aye.

Did a bit of pushin and pullin based on the defused texture. Ill post the shaded render wtihin zbrush tommorw :D anyways back to da hand lol

No crits, the modeling texturing and UV's look great so far.

It looks great, however I think you're relying a bit too much on the zbrush shader.

CGmonkey: hehe yah but its only a guide in zbrush :)

I completed the hands and compressed the polys down to a low poly quality. Now im gunna move onwards with his shirt in zbrush. Ill be back with more upates

looks very promising and very nice with the photo textures... However those elbows look very painfull looks like you need some more geometry there.

Other then that, if you fixed the seams along the hand... I am happy! :)

Hello again, I am gunna move onto modeling the second guy now. this dude whill be a bit chubby and kinda old hehe, So today I quickly modeled in the base cage. I'm gunna unwrap that and project map a referance image i had for him and will post that soonage :) so heres a quick screen grab of the head so far.

Something about the first character's head is throwing me off...I think perhaps the placement of the ear is off, the forehead is too short, and the skull is small in comparison to the face. I can't quite put my finger or it, but it's making the character look somewhat neanderthal. The second head looks bettered proportioned, in comparison.
The photo-sourced textures are working pretty well. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress on this project.
