Need help determining the best approach an element in this shot. Here's the basics:

Software: Max2008
Setting: Dogs intestine
Star: Tapeworm
Problem: When the worm moves it's head around I need a slimy, mucus like stuff to be pulling from the intestinal wall. Doesn't have to break but looking natural is important. You know what I mean. Slimy thing on another slimy thing that then pulls away leaving that wonderful slimy slime connecting the two just kind of hanging there all nasty and stuff.

Here is a shot of the intestine I have created thus far.

And here is the Worm in question (Not textured at this stage but the model is final)http://www.isclient.com/posts/TapeWorm.jpg
So the worm starts attached to the wall of the intestine, then pulls away to about this far pretty slowly. Need slimy mucus stuff on the undeside of the worm for added gross factor. BTW never do a google image search for tapeworm or roundworm unless you want to loose your lunch.

Thanks for the help!
