Hey Guys,
I’ve been working on a lil showreel here that I’d appreciate some critiques about if you lot wouldn’t mind.

I’m a 3rd Year 3D animation student at the Swansea Institute (for those interested) and the work on here are some samples of the work I’ve produced over the last couple of years here.

Hey Will, nice to see you got the showreel up. Good luck and all that jazz.
Fix the spaceman walk the knees pop a bit, though it isnt too noticable

Hey

decent for a 3rd year student.

Your presentation is pretty good and overall it looks good. But i would cut a good 30-60 secs off of this reel, the space men guys drag on for WAY too long and i would also take out the drawings. only show ure best stuff, way too much filler stuff in there.

i would also maybe consider putting the army guys first as i think thats the strongest.

animation wise you need to make things flow a bit better, just now its all very 'move - stop, turn - stop, look - stop, gesture - stop' and just loosen the whole thing up.

apart from that just keep at it. practice makes perfect and ure getting there.
