I've been working on Sven here for a day or two and decided to let him off the hook and come visit CGTalk...Look out though!..He's looking to Press gang any unsuspecting artists...

Painter, Photoshop and a little ZBrush for some highlights. 3000x3400 at 300ppi. No Badgers were hurt in the creation of this image!

very nice work, love the colours and the characters feel, looks like a right miserable git, which is what id expect for a vicious slave trader. :thumbsup: and the dragon scale texture ... sweet.

my two pence of crit: the nearest drumstick looks like not really held by the fingers, it sort of looks like its coming out of hand rather than being independant, maybe a tiny bit more shadow?
oh and the badgers eyes.

that's a nice painting man...! but his arm looks a little too blurry and his face don't combine with his body (maybe it's just me)...he looks like an old raquitic(??) man...don't know
