View Full Version : Effect: How do I glow footsteps?
Andrei2k 04-28-2003, 12:25 AM I am looking to do and effect of blowing where footsteps happen as though to keep a history of foot prints as they keep happening.....should I use vector paint or a mat with glow or what? I need the easiest and fastest solution not necessarily the best...I'm trying with an adjustment layer but I'm not sure if thats even right. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

are you working with shoted film, or rendered sequences?
in case of working naturs, you have to use masks.
if you've rendered your footage, render a pass, wich contains the imprints, then use this as a mask layer.
Blur it, glow it, use itself or its colorlayer additively. Echo it, if you want to create some changes during the animation.
best regards
