View Full Version : Object: Golem Chair
Anoma1y 04-27-2003, 11:06 PM Made as an experiment with area lighting in Lightwave this morning. Took almost exactly an hour to render. I have always struggled with lighting in my projects, although I rather liked how this came out.
The design of the chair is that of the "Golem Chair" I found in a book of furniture design, with different textures of course.

I absolutely love everything about that picture, EVERYTHING, except for the design of the chair. Since you copied it out of a furniture design book, i assume that you have done it accurately, but I can't help feeling like the back of that chair is constricting my head movement...
Besides that, excellent work
BTW -> no armpads? Would feel like a torture chair!

Thanks Gatling. I agree about the design. It would be horrible to actually use, but i really liked it in a purely artistic sense.
I chose it mainly because of its simplicity, as I wanted to focus on the lighting.

Well I would say you pretty much lit this scene up lol. Lighting and reflections look top notch to me:thumbsup:
