bonne technik !
moi aussi je suis curieux de la connaitre car le resultat est tre bon.
Mais il est vrai que tu peux pousser plus loin le rendu en affinant avec ton burn and dodge tool. En tout cas t tres bien partie.

sorry... i am yet another silly, silly person unable to speak french. my high school was stupid and only offered spanish, german, & russian... but no french.
though i sorta gathered from the first bit that this picture was found on the internet, it is originally the work of Hyung Tae-Kim, whose incredible concept work can be seen in the korean games magna carta & war of genesis 3. just giving credit where its due.
katkats: one thing i couldn't make out from the message, are you giving these girls your own color scheme? because it's pretty different than the one used in the game. it's very refreshing to see familiar characters with a new look, but i wasn't sure if you were going for accuracy.
carm3d: jazz beard? do you mean soul patch? lol because yeah, she does have a bit too much of that action going on.

EDIT- actually looking at the b&w pic... i think that shadowy area might be her mouth. i think she's puckering as if she's blowing out smoke(?) making that ridge above it her upper lip? i dunno, that's just the way i interpret the original drawing

peace,
:surprised -ill
well everything is great the drawing and the painting but....(i gotta say this).......since ff7 is my favourite game....i think u should preserve the original character colors....thay look much nicer in them...the idea of them smoking is fine but i don't know.......i don't know:shrug:

Hmm - I don't know if this is your style, but the colouring to me looks a little blotchy. Don't get me wrong - I like the image as a whole, but I just think that the colouring could have been done better. Have you seen how the Japanese artists have done this kind of thing:
http://www.asagao.sakura.ne.jp/~ootani/main.htm
or
http://www5.ocn.ne.jp/~eithne/
these are just examples....
Maybe just brighten the colours up a bit more as well?
Looking good tho :)
