View Full Version : Character: Space hero private eye guy.

This model is for a group project for school... I have until tomorow to finish the modeling and I'm just looking for input before I do the clothes...

A couple notes... I'm not finished removing the seams, plus his chest, shoulders and legs were made with the clothes in mind, so they lack defenition and have a wrinkle here and there. Also he's supposed to have outragiously huge arms hands and feet... but I'm also looking for help on how to make them work better with the proportions.

you need to smooth it out a little. theres alot of weird deforming especialy around the armpit and the thumb

take a look at the hands...
the mesh is pushed all over the place.. go in an collapse some of the verts to cut down on your mesh.. you may want to start over so that you can clean up some of the stuff that you have going on in there...

Fix the face...look at a mirror and get some human looking features in there...

don’t count on the clothes to cover the bad anatomy and mesh that you have. Its good to just do it the right way not have to cover stuff that looks bad.

Hey, don’t get down.. We all had to start somewhere.

Thanks for the crit... just a note tho... I wasn't trying to use clothes to cover the bad anotomy. I made it the way I did so that I could just make the clothes out of it. I do agree with the mesh part... I'm still trying to work on tweaking the geometry... but I don't have much time to do it. :p
