hey I made this submarine in about 2 hours, however I cant seem to make a good backround for it, so it looks as if it is underwater, but the distant objects are blurry a la DOF. can anyone help?

Here it is surfacing, but the blue in the backround is ridiculous. i want a blury unditiguisable gradiant in the back, to show the depth, then i think i will add bubbles comming from the propeller
