Title: PLA's Type 99 MBT
Name: Xiaobo Dai
Country: China
Software: 3ds max

Hi. I am one military fan in China. I take about two monthes to finish the artwork. It is one personal work. I modeled it with Max 9, rendered with Maxwell render for the realistic style. Other outline pictures are rendered with V-Ray. The whole model is about 0.3 million faces. I am eager to hear your suggestions and opinions. Thank you.

The modeling and texturing look well done. It looks too clean though. A shiny new tank doesn't really look right. Dirty it up perhaps and maybe add a background might showcase your work better.

I like the tank. Modeling is good, but I think the textures need to be more durty to be realistic. Some years ago I used to drive that kind of puppy (russian T-72, Bulgarian army, First armored batalion :) ) and I tell you: it is inpossibile a tracked vehicle to be clean.
One other thig bugs me, in you'r model the drive wheel is in front, not in the rear of the vehicle. I don't know the chinese tank family in details, but I know that they are versions of russian tanks like T-55 and T-72. If I'm right, the drive wheel must be in the rear of the tank.

Keep up the good work! Best regards!
