Hi I thought you might be interesting in the odd project I am working on. Not really having any budget but big ideas I decided to combine aspects of film and graphic novels etc into one project. So after thinking about ways to do it I decided to do a multimedia graphic novel with "video pages" and "audio pages" video pages are basicly short videos and audio pages combine grapic novel style images with and an audio sound track. And its done in installments as I get things done. Doing it in this way gives me great freedom to mix and match different formats of footage and video and still images. For example for the first couple of video pages I had a bunch of HD NASA 25P footage that really only fit on that part so I edited it all together with my own animations and a budget royalty free symphony orchestra soundtrack. I also listened to hundreds of samples of voice talent online to find a great shakespearean theater actor to do the narration at a reasanable price. Then the next page could be graphic novel style with the same quality of audio as the video pages. And the page after that all SD 30fps footage. Also doing it in installments of 1 or 2 a month it saves me from having to come up with large amounts of money at one time.
